TO MINERS or other WORKMEN Employed in REDHOUSE COAL PIT in the Parish of Livingstone, Linlithgowshire, by ANDREW WALKER, Lessee of minerals on said Estate in the years 1856, 1857, and 1858, or others versant in the Redhouse Minerals, or in the filling up of that Pit: OFFERS for LAYING BARE the CROP SEAMS of the BLACKBAND IRONSTONE, TORBANE MINERAL, or GAS COAL will be received by Robert Webster, Trustee on said Estate, and communications, if wished, relative to these Minerals will be held by him as strictly confidential. North British Railway (Additional Works and Powers) .......A Railway (hereinafter referred ti as Railway No.2) commencing by a junction with Railway No.1 at a poin in the parish of Livingston and county of Lintlithgow five hundred and eighty yeards or therestabouts north westward from the eastmost corner of the farmhouse at Redhouse and one hundred and seventy yards or thereabout eastward of the Engine House of the Moss Pit, on the estate of Redhouse, and terminating by a junction with the North British (Edinburgh and Bathgate) Railway at a point thereon in the partish of Bathgate and county of Linlithgow, three hundred and sixty yards or thereabouts east of the bridge charrying the toad from Bathgate to Blackburn, by way of Wester Inch, overy the North British (Edinburgh and Bathgate) Railway, which intended Railway and work will pass from, through, or into, or be situated within the Parishes of Livingstone and Bathgate, County of Linlithgow
