GOING COLLIERY FOR SALE. THE COLLIERY of MUIRHOUSEDYKE, situated on the Lands of Mr. Logan, in the Parish of West Calder, County of Edinburgh, which consists of several Hundreds of Acres of first-rate Coal in Three or Four Seams, ranging in thickness from Two Feet Eight Inches, to Six Feet thick, respectively. The Bathgate and Wilsontown Railway passes within Four Hundred Yards of the Lands; the Caledonian Railway within Four Miles; and it is the nearest Coal Field to the West of Edinburgh. There are Two Steam Engines on the Work, one of them Thirty of Horse-power (new), the other about Twelve Horse-power, with the necessary erection for carrying on an extensive output. Offers to be handed to Mr. Andrew Thomson, at Muirhouse-dyke, the present Lessee, who will give every information, and show the Workings, &c.

WHITTEN will Sell the above, comprising Horizontal Steam Engine, 18 inch cylinder, 3½ feet strke, ,with Pumping and Winding Gearing, Double Power Crane, 850 Yards Cart Rails, 122 Pit Rails, Cast Iron Plates. Pipes, Ropes, Chains, Trucks, Hutches, Old Wood, Bricks &c. A Conveyance will leave Robertson's Hotel Bathgate, for the sale at 10.30.
