DRUM PIT TO RESTART.— The Drum Pit, better known as the Clay Pit. at Bathville, owned by The United Collieries, Ltd., is, we understand, likely to be restarted some time this month. This week several men were engaged to repair roads etc.. which have been wasted during the period, now almost a year, in which the pit was not being worked. When at full pressure about 60 men are engaged. The chief product is clay for the use of the United Collieries at Bathville Brickwork.
