TO BE SOLD, By private bargain, reduced price,

THE LANDS of BRIDGECASTLE and WOODBANK, in the County of Linlithgow, with the Mansion-house, Offices, Garden, and lawn. This beautiful property contains nearly acres of excellent land, all substantially inclosed and subdivided with hedge rows and trees nearly years old. It abounds with rich seams of coal and iron ore—the latter is, some of it, equal to 50 per cent., and these minerals, with the farm produce, will find an immediate and very increased lucrative market, the moment the Glasgow and Edinburgh Railway finished, as it passes directly through the lands. The whole will be out of lease at Martinmas 1834 ; but, as the property is peculiarly well adapted for a gentleman who may wish to reside on it, and to farm, entry can be given to it at Martinmas first, the present tenant being bound to give up the short period of his lease still to run, whenever the proprietor desires. The mansion-house is an elegant old baronial residence, in complete repair, and handsomely fitted up, containing one of the best dining-rooms in the county, drawing-room, six bed-rooms, with dressing closets, kitchen, servants’ rooms, spacious lobby and stair-case, Ac., with suitable offices, and is surrounded with fine timber of very great age. It and the furniture on valuation, if desired, can be put in possession of purchaser immediately, and a great part of the price may remain in his hands. Apply Mr Watson, W. 3., 19, Melville Street, Edinburgh.
