    Clocksbriggs (Forfar) Petroleum Storage Depot

    An oil storage depot, probably constructed by the Ministry of Defence immediately prior to World War two, sited close to the former Clocksbriggs station and served by a siding from the LMS Forfar to Montrose railway line. The site was offered for sale in 2021 described as Forfar PSD , Burnbrae Road, Forfar, DD8 2TZ ; 4.5km to the east of Forfar off the B9113. In total the site extends to approximately 1.87 hectares (4.62 acres) and contains six buildings. The depot remained intact within a secure perimeter fence when visited in September 2021.
