Description

Glass plate negative of technical drawing of plan and elevation of agitator and still for finished paraffin also tin filter complete, scale 3/8" inch = 1 foot, dated 15th August 1874.

Shows a vessel with internal heating coils, presumably used for a final distillation of paraffin. Box labelled "Young & Beilby Retorts, Young & Fyfe Retorts"
