Box of four ornate candles produced by Young's Paraffin Light & Mineral Oil Company Ltd Addiewell Works.
Plain box with a doily lining contains four white tapered candles each decorated with a different raised paper flower transfer, c. 1910.
Although the candles carry no identification, the donor had family connections with Young's Addiewell candle works and the candles are similar to presentation boxes seen in photographs of Young's products
