Enamelled sign in shield shape carrying BP emblem in green, yellow, and black.

Approx 18" high, circa 1940. "BP" was an imported oil brand marketed alongside the home produced "Scotch" fuels. Early version of the BP shield emblem recovered from Middleton Hall workshops of Scottish Oils, in pristine condition with no signs of use or display
